Liverpool boss Rafa Benetiz is rumoured to be weighing up a move for Sunderland star Kenwyne Jones according to reports over the weekend.
Jones has been labeled the new Drogba in some quarters for his strong physical leading the line performances for Sunderland since his £6 million move from Southampton at the start of the season.
Jones has scored 4 goals in 7 appearances for new boss Roy Keane who will be reluctant to lose the striker but may be persuaded if Liverpool include out of favour Peter Crouch as part of the deal.
