Cole's holiday offer for Ben Haim

Joe Cole has promised to buy clubmate Tal Ben Haim the holiday of a lifetime if he can help Israel beat Russia and give England a chance of reaching Euro 2008.
Chelsea defender Ben Haim holds England's dreams in his hands in Tel Aviv on November 17 when Russia go for the win which would all but put England out.
Cole said: "If Tal and Israel get a result against Russia I'm offering him and his family a holiday anywhere in the world they like! We're desperate for a favour."
Ah... how nice of him to a fellow club mate...

I think its more because they have an incapable coach rather than bad players... There are many... Lampard, wanted by a lot of top European clubs, Beckham, had he wanted could have stayed at Real another 2 yrs or gone to AC Milan... Actually a draw would be the result the English team would need... cos England are now on 23 points with Russia on 21... To be fair, Croatia won't be easy but since they are at home... I think won't be too much of a problem. But to get a win in Israel isn't as simple either... Israel are quite a difficult side to beat in their own back yard... And Israel isn't completely out of the running yet either tho just the slimmest of chance...
Anyway, you shouldn't count your chickens first till you have seen all of them... -
