Arsene Wenger admits that he actually relishes the theatre of his public feud with Sir Alex Ferguson.
The rival managers have been engaged in a stormy relationship ever since Wenger arrived in the Premier League 11 years ago.
Their ill-feeling peaked after the pizza-throwing episode at Old Trafford three years ago when Arsenal were beaten by Manchester United, but it has threatened to explode again since Saturday's 2-2 draw between the teams.
The pair have traded verbal punches on the subject of Wenger's foreign recruitment policy and the clubs are locked in a security row after Ferguson accused Arsenal supporters of insulting him during the game at the Emirates Stadium.
"I do sometimes get annoyed with Ferguson just like he gets annoyed with me but that's part of the game and part of the entertainment," said Wenger, in an interview for FourFourTwo magazine.
"I don't believe you can compete at this level of competition and be friends. But there's no bad feeling, you know.
"Do I enjoy the mind games? Yes, it makes life interesting."
