Arsenal passed a milestone during their 3-1 victory over Reading on Monday night.
Arsenal became only the second team, behind Manchester United, to break through the four-figure goals barrier since the formation of the Premier League in 1992.
Not surprisingly, the so-called Big Four have dominated goalscoring in the top-flight since the League's inaugural season, 1992-93. Liverpool and Chelsea are on course to pass the 1,000 mark early next season.
But Newcastle have also been fairly prolific in the goalscoring stakes. The Magpies lie fifth in the table, despite having played one fewer season in the Premier League than the four teams above them.
Arsenal have scored in every Premier League game so far this season - but they are still a long way bhind Manchester United in terms of total number of Premier League goals scored.
United's current tally - 1,163 - is testament to their success in winning the title in nine of the 15 Premier League seasons completed to date.
