Adriano Set For Arsenal?

Reports in Italy suggest that Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger could be lining up a sensational loan swoop for troubled Inter striker Adriano.
Wenger currently has four natural strikers in the shape of Robin Van Persie, Emmanuel Adebayor, Eduardo Da Silva and Nicklas Bendtner. The latter is keen to gain more first team football and may be sent out on loan in January, thus paving the way for Adriano.
While ‘The Emperor’, who is eligible to play in the Champions League, would move to the Emirates Stadium, out-of-favour Gunners’ midfielder Gilberto Silva would travel the other way to San Siro.
Gilberto is keen to leave Arsenal after losing his place in the team to Frenchman Matthieu Flamini.
Inter are in desperate need of midfield reinforcements as Patrick Vieira is constantly injured, while Luis Figo is out for a number of months after fracturing his leg. -
