Why did Wayne bridge , not even in Chelsea's starting 11 , chosen ahead of other better left back .
He was obviously a weak link ... no pace , no fitness ... he was the reason why Croatia got their 2nd goal , cos he kept the Croats onside .
Nevermind la .... No England also good , they wouldn't win anyway . -

it is partly the manager's fault also, poor tactics and wrong players to start. Beckham, Defoe/Bent and Ashley Cole should have started. Taking off Barry was also a bad mistake, Lampard should be taken out instead.

clearly if you wanna play a 5-men midfield, i would put barry and hargo as holding, free gerrard to attack, and maybe j.cole/downing on the left, becks on the right. crouch upfront.
if you wanna revert to 4-4-2, take out barry for bent/defoe.
but in this case, since hargo isn't playing, why take out barry?!
why not the useless fat lampard?
and SWP was woeful! Becks would have been a more logical choice with experience, passing, set-pieces and creativity.

Well I think the problem was to start with Bridge when u have Ashley Cole on the bench, and to have Sol Campbell when u have Richards who can also play at the same position (what about carragher?!??)
Midfield was woeful. 5 midfielders and 2 goals conceded in 15 mins. Gosh. And to play Crouch they should have had wingers (they have) and someone that Crouch can knock down passes to (which was lacking!)
All in all, manager fault la -
