For now,I can only think of
Ferdinand
Rooney
Carrick
J.Cole
The rest are all blood and guts kind of players who often run like Forrest Gump(fast, lots of stamina and without direction) and will just hoof the ball up field and hope for the best.(especially Gerrard)
You dont even know the meaning of "ball player"...Originally posted by baby hunter:only these four are ball player?? then the rest do what?? ball picker?
or you mean play maker?
wonder u watch football bor....there are lots are much better then the named 4.....![]()
Think is Rio?Originally posted by thoreldan:ts talking about les ferdinand ar?
Nothing to do with the mental side of the game.I am only talking about the technical aspects.Originally posted by 798:u got to be kidding me!
rooney is termed as saviour of england by his countrymen. but he has a quick-temper whom might cause failure to the team. just look at his world cup performance by getting sent off which he could have avoid them.
n playing against russia, he helped them by giving them a penalty which costed england landed up to this sorry state.
rooney may be scoring goals for england, but his weakness is being young n reckless which may lead team to destruction.

I would scholes in that area too but he retired.
I dont think blaming Rooney for England's dismal performance, labelling him as a destructor is justifiedOriginally posted by 798:u got to be kidding me!

Thing is,you and I know that the whole god damn team is at fault man. You cant possibly just let him shoulder all of the blame. It was obvious he was barely half fit when he played for a sparkless England team in the World Cup. Conceding a penalty(Which was not supposed to be given) that led to England's exit in Euro 08? Questionable indeed, when everyone knows that the team has to play credibly well for all matches to qualify. Big picture is, it is evident that the whole team which just cant seem to play well together, and have to share this collective blame.Originally posted by 798:he's not really as great as u pple think.
at the start of euro campaign, england is doing fine through his suspension n injuries. it makes no difference even for his comeback as to me rooney is a ticking time bomb for his temper for the team failure.
