our u23s cant realy make it la.. heh.. best player is amri... mushadad and ridhuan not so bad la.. but generally, not enogh experience.
the reason why our senior team is (comparatively) strong is beause of shi jia yi, bennett, precious, and now duric. tho indra and alam shah not tt bad i guess. alam shah had good asean cup.. but mainly its the goal against thailand in final that was impt la.. score 7 goals against laos inflated his tally, made him seem better than he is
but u23s much less talent. -
I think experience is not really an excuse lor. I mean all the countries field their U23 players so all players lack experience. Our dear singapore U23 has been playing sleague and singapore season after season.
Even if they arent good players, they should at least gel well and at least hold thais to a decent draw WITHOUT FTs. -
i don even noe why the S league form the Young Lions ?
its not even useful, i just wanna watch the senior team in action. -
the U23 started off well.
they crumbled after the first goal. why does this sound so familiar? like the senior team under Jan Poulsen. -
I think forming the young lions is a good idea for head hunting future stars and FTS.Lions badly need more FTs and because the FT thing is still not favorable with the other ASEAN countries Singapore should take full advantage of it.

dun understand why ppl so harsh with this u-23 side....at least they're better than the previous ones...
sure it's a bad performance and u should criticise that but i dun understand why to the extent of saying they're rubbish....if they're rubbish, what about the senior team?? this U-23 has seven players that've played for the senior team....
the young lions in the s league is good.....they play some of the best football u're gonna see in the s league and they did finish fifth this season and third last season...
btw, it's unbelivable fazrul nawaz was not dropped or even subbed....he was even worse than a gu gu....
