An online poll of fans has voted Andriy Shevchenko the biggest transfer flop in football history. The Ukraine striker, signed by Chelsea from AC Milan for £30 million and a weekly wage of £120,000, received 2,857 of the 6,677 votes cast.
In second place was £28.1m Manchester United dud Juan Sebastian Veron with 1,069 votes while Sergei Rebrov, who joined Tottenham in 2000 for £11m, came third with 635 votes. -
