Koeman Wants Unsettled Riise

Liverpool's Norwegian left-back John Arne Riise could be heading for Spain if Valencia manager Ronald Koeman gets his way.
According to the Daily Mirror, Valencia boss Ronald Koeman has launched a £4million bid to sign Liverpool defender John Arne Riise.
Although Rafael Benitez wants to keep 27-year-old Riise at Anfield, the struggling Spanish giants have targeted him as a top priority to help turn fortunes around at the Mestalla.
Koeman, the recently appointed boss of Los Che, explained: "He is a player with experience and would offer some options for our game."
And Valencia's sporting director, Miguel Angel Ruiz, was quoted in the Mirror as saying: "We want to improve our squad." -

Riise rebuffs Reds exit reports
Spanish outfit Valencia have been strongly linked with a move for the Norwegian international after Ronald Koeman confirmed his interest in Riise.
But Riise has played down the speculation and insists he wants to stay at Liverpool and win a new contract.
"I will stay here," Riise told TV2.
"Look at the games I've played, the boss would never have let me play those games if he didn't have confidence in me.
"I have to play better and better for each game, then I'll get a new contract."
