Haha, judging on current form, i see Liverpool will have a tough time beating Inter because no offence to Liverpool fan out there, dont you guys see Inter have more world class players than Liverpool and their domestic form is superb too, still unbeaten and are gunning for their third consecutive serie A titles. Well maybe many would say Inter lack experience in Europe and they always did badly in this europe's premier competition, but that doesnt mean they will flop again this time. I am sure they have gained something from the past few seasons. I would go for Inter though.......after all i only go for the best team to emerge victorious.
As for the other italian team, AC Milan, many have said they would struggle against a young Arsenal team....but dont forget on this big stage, experience is crucial and the recently crowned world champions have what it takes to reach the final again....many might laugh at my statement but we shall see come this May. With serie A practically out of reach for AC Milan, the only way to save their season would be winning the CL again, whereas Arsenal would be still in the running for the premiership, i am sure come this February....so can the youngsters cope with that? I doubt so lor, again another italian win is on the card. And with Kaka, Gattuso, Seedorf and Pirlo in AC Milan midfield lineup, i doubt any other teams in the world can argue the fact that AC Milan actually possess the most complete engine room at the moment. Their weakness is their strikers, i am not sure whether Inzaghi can carry on producing the goals anot, but Gilardino certainly has disappointed many fans thus far in the CL competition. Goalkeeper Dida is quite unreliable at times and the defenders are aging already....Nevertheless they are still a force to be reckoned with in this competition.
