Napoli forward Marcelo Zalayeta has picked up a two-match ban after being found guilty of diving against Torino.
Former Juventus forward Marcelo Zalayeta is set to miss his side's meetings with AC Milan and Lazio after picking up a two game ban for diving.
The 29-year-old was found guilty of "flying without any significant bodily contact" during his side's 1-1 draw with Torino.
His alleged antics won him a penalty; Maurizio Domizzi duly skied it over the bar, but nonetheless the Lega have come down hard on the ex-Sevilla ace.
Zalayeta, a Uruguayan international, was previously deemed to have dived against former club Juve earlier in the season, only for that particular sanction to be cancelled on appeal.
The former Empoli man has scored seven goals so far this term in the top flight.
