Arsenal are reportedly considering paying a substantial fee to Real Madrid for Dani Parejo.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is reported by Marca to be pondering making a huge offer for Real Madrid's 16 year-old 'wonder kid' Dani Parejo.
Midfielder Parejo is regarded as one of the best young talents to come through Real's youth system for several years.
He has already been tied to a four-year professional contract which includes a £10 million buy-out clause.
But Marca claim that the size of the fee will not deter Wenger if he decidees he wants the starlet.
Although Wenger has ruled out entering the January transfer market to strengthen his first-team squad he may regard Parejo as a sound long-term investment - as he did when taking the 15-year-old Cesc Fabregas from Barcelona in 2003, and then going back to the Catalan giants for Fran Merida.
Merida, now 17, has just gone on loan to Real Sociedad to continue his football development with some valuable competitive first team experience as the San Sebastian club seeks to return to La Primera Liga at the first attempt.
