Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly showing interest in Atlético Madrid midfielder Maniche.
Portuguese midfielder Maniche has been linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur in the January transfer window.
The former Chelsea man, now at Spanish outfit Atlético Madrid, is thought to be a favourite of new Spurs boss Juande Ramos, who is considering tabling a £4m bid. But as agent Jorge Mendes pointed out, Tottenham aren't the only suitors.
"There have been a number of European clubs who have demanded information on Maniche, including the Premier League," Mendes told the Daily Star. "It all now depends on whether they can negotiate with Atletico."
Italian giants Internazionale are thought to be one of the other interested parties, with Maniche enjoying the backing of current Nerazzuri star Luis Figo.
Nonetheless, Atlético's sporting director Jesus Garcia Pitarch remains hopeful that the player will opt to stay on in Spain and sign a new deal.
"He is an excellent player, so I am not surprised that there is so much interest. But there is nothing concrete and he can add great value to the team this season because it will be a long one."
