  Tottenham and Manchester United have joined Chelsea in the race for Barcelona wonderkid Giovani dos Santos.
  
  All three have 'made firm, substantial offers' for the 18-year-old Mexican, with Spurs hoping to steal a march by capitalising on Juande Ramos' contacts at Barcelona.
  
  Attacking midfielder Giovani, who has a £20million release clause but would initially cost around £10m, has been eager to stay at the Camp Nou but realises his opportunities are restricted.

  CHELSEA, Manchester United and Tottenham are battling it out to land the ‘new Ronaldinho’. The Premier League giants are all desperate to capture £15million-rated Barcelona wonderkid Giovani Dos Santos.
  
  SunSport can reveal the 18-year-old met with bosses Avram Grant, Alex Ferguson and Juande Ramos during a three-day stay in England last week. Each club offered the Mexico international a contract but only Chelsea and Spurs have made bids.
  
  Chelsea’s offer is believed to be £10m, while Spurs have come up with £7m and regular football. United say they are only interested in taking the player in the summer and have made it clear they will not get involved in any kind of bidding war.
