Manchester City found themselves out of the FA Cup and out of pocket yesterday when thieves raided their dressing room at Bramall Lane.
As the Premier League millionaires were losing 2-1 at Championship strugglers Sheffield United, crooks helped themselves to watches, mobile phones and cash.
South Yorkshire Police were called in and have launched an investigation.
City spokesman Paul Tyrrell said: "Several players and members of the backroom staff have had items and cash worth several thousand pounds stolen during the match."
A police spokesman said: "We are investigating the thefts. We had reports that seven individuals had high-value items such as watches and mobile phones stolen, along with cash totalling about £2,000."

Never steal jersey? hahahaha
But they should have lockers in the backroom right? I remember watching news and they showed players in the room with lockers.
