Portsmouth have denied reports that Sacha Gaydamak has put the club up for sale.
Speculation on Thursday suggested that Pompey's owner Gaydamak was considering selling his stake in the club.
However, Portsmouth have now moved quickly to refute the suggestion that Gaydamak is willing to offload the Fratton Park outfit.
"There is absolutely no truth in this whatsoever," Pompey director of communications Gary Double told The News.
"The owner remains committed to this club and that is why he is continuing to invest in the squad in this transfer window."
