Okada Japan might be in for a rude surprise when they take on Thailand at home. Not only are the Japanese confident in thrashing Thailand but Okada has promised to take this team all the way to South Africa and get a third placing in the World Cup Final. This is the second time for Okada to take the helm and if you remember the first time ,Japan barely qualified with a last minute goal. This match is no easy walk over and I expect the home team to win by a solitary goal.
Game is kicking off in 20 minutes time at the Saitama Stadium. In the meantime everybody esle on TV is Talking C0ck about thrashing Thailand. It is hard to imagine the Thais winning this match but they really have nothing to lose and will go for the one point.
1-0 Endo just scored from a freekick but Thailand equalised !!! 1-1
half time score 1-1 Japan had 62% ball possession.
yes sweet..i took TG over @ 3 and japs leading 3-1...
huat ah!
Everything fell apart for Thailand after that stupid No 10 Naronchai not only gave an easy ball to Okubo to score but got sent off for Shaolin Kung Fu in just 10 minutes of the second half. With Thailand playing with 10 men backside koyak!!KNN I got 2and half ball for Thailand and still lost money at the last minute.Final Score Japan 4- 1 (last goal scored by the clumsy giraffe Maki) KNNBCCB!!!
surprising result, knowing that japan has some injuries on its first team players... oh well.. thailand have only themselves to blame for losing this advantage...
The header by Nakazawa was a real beauty and perhaps the only hard earned goal,Thailand was lucky that the tall menacing defender Tulio Tanaka was not in the lineup due to injury but the short penetrating passes proved too much for the frustrating Thais. The Mancester City stint did help some players polish up their individual skills but it was also damaging as these players struggled to play as a team. The Thais were totaly outclassed this time and the one point dream turned out to be a 4 goal nightmare. If they dont get their act together by the next game.....it is going to be an early exit.
