
The programme is open to all budding young footballers aged between 14 to 16 and football schools in the Guangdong province is expected to send their promising players to participate in the reality television contest.
Chelsea have been involved in the Asian Football Confederation [AFC] Vision China project – where the AFC hope to create 10 city leagues in China.
The Blues are also the official development partner of the project. Chelsea chief executive Peter Keyon believes the reality television show will extend their reach in Asia.
He said: “We are delighted to be involved in such an innovative project that helps us deliver on our continuing commitment to promote grass roots football amongst youngsters in China.
“The show complements our involvement in Vision China with the AFC as well as showcasing Chelsea to a large audience and we look forward to hosting the finalists of Super Soccer Star in England.”
Four of the best players will be picked from the show and the quartet will be given a trial at the club. They will also visit Chelsea's academy at Cobham in Surrey and their Stamford Bridge ground.
