Singapore - International sports agency MP & Silva has signed an exclusive agreement with Juventus Football Club to organise, market and commercialise the Italian club's Asia Pacific tour in May.
Juventus will play three matches during the promotional tour and MP & Silva is in multiple-party discussions - including several Asian football federations, football clubs, sponsors and companies - about holding matches in their respective countries. A finalised itinerary is expected to be released in the coming months and at press time a MP & Silva spokesperson said it was too early to tell if Singapore would host a match.
"MP & Silva has an excellent track record promoting Italian football around the world, and Juventus FC is delighted to partner with them to market and promote our 2008 Asia-Pacific summer tour. As Juventus FC has a strong following in the Asia-Pacific region, we are looking forward to be working together with MP & Silva to help us draw closer to our ever growing Asian fanbase," Marco Fassone, chief sales and marketing officer for Juventus Football Club, said.
Juventus have committed to bring their full first team squad, excluding players who are involved in Euro 2008. The Italian giant's last visit to the region was in 2005 where they went to Tokyo and Hong Kong.
