Ajax And Arsenal To Join Forces?

Two of the European game’s household names, Ajax and Arsenal, are considering the possibility of working out an off-the-field partnership deal from next season, at least on terms of player transfers.
Arsène Wenger wrote in the Londoners’ match programme issued for their Premiership home game against Liverpool (1-1) that he discussed the matter with the next Ajax boss, Marco van Basten, a few days ago.
“Van Basten visited us at the training ground this week. We spoke a bit about the European Championship and about Ajax, because he is taking over there in the summer.”
“We spoke about how he wants to see the future of the club and how he wants to work there, and any similarities with our policy at Arsenal, and about whether they can take players on loan, for example.”
