The shots that once crossed the country ad nauseum between Anfield and
Stamford Bridge seemed to have died down altogether following Jose
Mourinho’s departure from West London last September.
However,
Benitez has reopened fire following Tuesday’s 1-1 draw between
Liverpool and Chelsea in the Merseyside leg of their Champions League
semi-final, claiming he has a veritable library of video evidence that
clearly demonstrates Drogba’s propensity for simulation.
"He is amazing because he is massive [and yet he goes down]," said Benitez. "It is very impressive.
"I have a lot of clips of him from over the years. We have played Chelsea 15 times and every time I have collected more clips.
"I
have shown them to some of the players. I think [Martin] Skrtel and
Carra [Jamie Carragher] were really good against him the other day but
the referee was giving fouls.
"That is why it is important to
have a good referee with Drogba, because you can't do anything [to stop
him going down]. Drogba was given seven fouls and [Fernando] Torres
only three, yet Torres has bruises all over his body."
So is your Stevie Ghee the hypocrite tubby. Trying to play mind games with the refs?
well, he should know that Drogba was once given the award for best Africa footballer of the year under the category of acting, like hollywood ya.

AVRAM GRANT has told Rafa Benitez to stop calling Didier Drogba a diver.
Chelsea’s boss reckons his Kop rival is trying to divert attention from only drawing their Champions League semi-final, first leg. Grant said: “I will not speak about players from Liverpool and what they do. I don’t like it when others speak about mine.
“Rafa is trying to distract attention from the first half of the first leg draw at Anfield. “The referee could easily have given a yellow card to Jamie Carragher to get him banned for the return. "It could also have been offside for Ryan Babel before their goal.”
Chelsea and Liverpool will battle it out in tonight’s second leg at Stamford Bridge. And Drogba can rest easy knowing he is NOT a diver. Despite 32 bookings in 170 Blues games, not one has been for ‘simulation’.
