  maybe u should ask the counter staff. The cost is at $3.90

  I saw another EURO 2008 book, cost around $15.90. The front cover is in black, back cover is the ad on Hyundai Cars. All the news of the 16 teams is in there. I want to buy but the book looked old, think a lot of ppl flipping the book. Will try other 7-11 stores for that book.

  Do you think these type of game got 'K-long'?? I always persume that there is. Anyone have the same tot as me??

  Euro 2008: Mathieu Flamini fails to make France squad

  Mathieu Flamini, who recently left Arsenal to join AC Milan, has failed to make France's 23-man squad for Euro 2008.

  France coach Raymond Domenech considered Flamini surplus to requirements having originally included him in his preliminary squad.

  His exclusion is another blow for Flamini who is still coming to terms with AC Milan's failure to secure a Champions League place for next season - something which his former club Arsenal did with some ease.

  Djibril Cisse again missed out on a major tournament, with Domenech giving his vote instead to St Etienne striker Bafetimbi Gomis who has only one previous cap. Former Liverpool forward Cisse missed the 2006 World Cup after breaking his leg in a warm-up game.

  Arsenal transfer target Samir Nasri has been preferred to Lyon protege Hatem Ben Arfa, while uncapped goalkeeper Steve Mandanda, Nasri's Marseilles team-mate, is picked ahead of Paris St Germain's Mickael Landreau.

  In defence, Lyon duo Jean-Alain Boumsong and Sebastien Squillaci have been included ahead of Julien Escude and the injured Philippe Mexes.

  Apart from the high number of inexperienced players in the squad, the big surprise is Domenech's decision to name only one genuine left-winger in Chelsea's Florent Malouda.

  France kick off their campaign against Romania on June 9 before facing Holland and Italy in their other Group C fixtures.

  Axed Boulahrouz Grateful To Van Basten

  Netherlands-reject Khalid Boulahrouz does not blame Marco van Basten for leaving him out of his final 23. On the contrary, he is all but thankful.

  “I would have liked to play at the European Championship final stage, but the deal was clear,” the Sevilla defender told popular Radio 1 sports program NOS Langs de Lijn.

  “From day one that was what we agreed on. It’s tough for me, but I must accept it. Van Basten gave me the chance to prove myself, I’m grateful for that. Out of the blue he selected me. In that short time I showed that I was ready, but you don’t make agreements for nothing.”

  The 26-year-old Netherlands international with Moroccan roots has struggled with a groin injury for months, managing a mere 10 outings with the Supercopa holders. And these were probably his last, as he’s expected to return to Chelsea, who hold his sporting rights, over the summer.

  The deal Boulahrouz is referring to most probably had to do with the fitness level of Mario Melchiot and André Ooijer.

  Meanwhile, UEFA has officially announced the shirt numbers of the Oranje squad.

  ANKLE INJURY RULES BABEL OUT

  Holland winger Ryan Babel will miss Euro 2008 after tearing ankle ligaments in training. Babel is expected to be out of action for several weeks and will therefore not take part in the summer showpiece in Austria and Switzerland.

  The Liverpool attacker sustained the injury a day before Holland play their final pre-tournament friendly, against Wales in Rotterdam. Holland coach Marco van Basten has not named a replacement for the 21-year-old although he is permitted to do so once Babel has been examined by a UEFA doctor.

  The Dutch will line up alongside France, Italy and Romania in Group C. Their first match is on June 9 against world champions Italy.

  Despite the injury blow, Holland boss Marco van Basten has delivered an ominous warning for John Toshack's Wales ahead of their meeting at Feyenoord's sold-out De Kuip stadium, demanding a flurry of goals to send his side into the Euro 2008 finals on a high.

  Holland coach Marco van Basten has added Khalid Boulahrouz to his squad for Euro 2008. The Chelsea defender comes in for Ryan Babel, who tore ankle ligaments in training on Saturday.

  Boulahrouz was dropped on Tuesday when Van Basten cut his squad to 23 players, opting instead for Mario Melchiot. But the 26-year-old, who has spent the season on loan with Sevilla, is back in following Liverpool winger Babel's injury.

  The Dutch FA (KNVB) are required to hand over an MRI scan of Babel's ankle to be able to add Boulahrouz to the squad.

  Mathieu Flamini has won a Euro 2008 reprieve after being recalled to the France squad as doubts surround the fitness of his Arsenal predecessor Patrick Vieira.

  Flamini, who will join Milan from The Gunners at the start of July, had initially been cut from Raymond Domenech’s selection for the finals in Austria and Switzerland after he reduced his numbers from 30 to 23.

  However, France captain Vieira has missed both warm-up games against Ecuador and Paraguay and was forced out of training on Friday with a suspected thigh injury.

  Les Bleus are sufficiently concerned about the fitness of their leader that they have summoned Flamini to link up with the squad once more and act as potential back-up. "Flamini is arriving today at Clairefontaine (France's training camp) and is added to the 23-man squad," confirmed team spokesman Yann Le Guillard.

  Vieira has not been withdrawn from France’s squad yet and Domenech has until June 8 to make any changes to his squad before the country open their campaign against Romania in Zurich a day later.

  Flamini has only won two caps for his country but a tremendous season in North London has seen him establish his reputation as one of the finest defensive midfielders in operation at present.

  Ronaldo scare for Portugal coach

  Cristiano Ronaldo left training on Monday with a pack of ice wrapped around his right ankle - but is hopeful of facing Turkey in Euro 2008.

  The Portuguese ace looked comfortable throughout a relaxed session, but required treatment from the medical staff before he headed for the dressing rooms.

  He did not appear to be limping, or be in any pain, and the situation remains unclear as the Portugal camp refused to confirm the nature of the problem.

  With their opening Euro 2008 game just five days away, Luiz Felipe Scolari will be desperate for his wing wizard to shake off the knock in time to face to Turkey.

  Portugal were training at their tournament base in Neuchatel, with the players allowed to take things easy in an attempt to avoid any potential pitfalls.

  Having failed to do so, Scolari will also be concerned by the fact that new Chelsea defender Jose Bosingwa was once again forced to run drills away from the main group.
