Gunners boss Arsene Wenger will be looking to bolster his options in
central midfield over the summer following the departure of Mathieu
Flamini for AC Milan.
The January sale of Lassana Diarra and the
declining form of Gilberto Silva leaves Arsenal rather thinner in the
middle of the park than they would like, sparking speculation that
Wenger will splash out in the transfer window.
And according to The People,
the Frenchman has pegged Toure to fill the void left by not only
Flamini’s departure, but that of former skipper Patrick Vieira in 2005.
The
former AS Monaco man has been linked with Arsenal several times over
the last six years, due to the fact his brother and fellow Ivory Coast
international Kolo Toure plays for the club.
And with the Toure
the elder set to receive the captain’s armband next season, and Barca
preparing to enter a new phase under Josep Guardiola, the time could
not be riper for Toure the younger to make a ₤10 million switch to
North London.
wenger never spend tis type of money
good player.
good buy...
good price
woah that would definitely make up for flamini's departure...big and strong, well suited for epl, maybe he can play everywhere like his brother too haha
he might not have spent tonnes of money on players like his counterpart in the EPL but this time everything seems to be stacked against his team hence i wouldn't be surprised if we see him making a couple of big money spending this off season to boast his team next season chances as well as getting the moral up for the entire team
can wan la. the price is good no?
This younger Toure i feel is just a so so player... Not bad but not great also... Anyway, Wenger has promise to make 2 to 3 signings before the month is over... so lets see...
diarra is much better.
let the brothers play together!!
Sigh. I don't agree with this purchase. I mean when the African cup comes we will be without Eboue, Toure and Ade. The last thing we need is to have another person leave mid season
but will barca agree to sell at only 10 million?

Doesn't matter ... African cup is held once every 2 years ... I think we should just solve the problem at hand first ...

If we can get Yaya we can kick manure's ass ... Arsenal slip out of the title race just because we have a thin squad
Arsenal slipped out of the title race because Adebayor couldn't score for a certain period of time.
u mean score those easy goals , such as those simple 1 on 1.
Haha, perhaps. He almost single-handedly helped Man U maintain their superior goal difference advantage over Chelsea.
Already, he has hinted that he wants to score 50 goals next season.
Anyway, think Theo Walcott will play a bigger part in Arsenal's season next season?

I hope Walcott plays more, he's good.
That's what I hope too because it would be exciting.
Maybe Arsenal should sell Adebayor to allow Walcott a chance to play regular football just like how they sold Henry to allow Adebayor a chance to shine. Haha.
