TWO Portsmouth players have ended up losers after their FA Cup medals have gone missing from the team hotel.
Defender Glen Johnson and back-up keeper Jamie Ashdown both used their washbags to hide their winners' medals, but left the bags behind in the plush team hotel by the Thames, a stone's throw from Windsor Castle.
When the bags were returned, the medals were missing.
Johnson said: "I'm devastated, this was the highlight of my career, you can't imagine how much the medal means to me.
"It is something you want to treasure for your whole life and show your kids and grandkids.
"I'm just hoping that if I can't get it back the FA might consider making a replica for me, because it's so soon after the match itself maybe they can see it as exceptional circumstances."
