Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon has pleaded the club's innocence after the speculation over Cristiano Ronaldo's future at Manchester United took another twist.
On Tuesday, United threatened to report Real to Fifa if the Primera Division champions continued to pursue their attempted capture of Ronaldo in an 'unacceptable fashion'.
The Portugal international's future at Old Trafford has been in doubt in recent weeks with various Real officials publicly speaking about their interest in Ronaldo.
However, the Red Devils have vehemently denied that they will be losing the PFA Player of the Year this summer.
Real have now moved to ease the growing tension between the two clubs, but do insist that the problem lies between United and the player.
"We haven't done, nor will we do anything against the wishes of a club that we consider a friend like Manchester United," Calderon said on the club's official website.
"Our relationship with Manchester is magnificent and we will not do anything that would violate the will of a team, just as we would not like that done to us.
"We know Manchester doesn't want to sell and we have nothing to say. It's a problem between the player and his team."
Calderon can just suck my balls.
i dont calderon want to suck your balls. but i think he wish to suck ronaldo balls in order to sign him.
"It's a problem between the player and his team".. his parting shot is going to make ManU looks like an idiot..
....Not unusual for Real. When they want to sign players they want and clubs dun wan to sell, either they will continually hound the club into selling or unsettle the players. Ronaldo better dun go to Real if he wants to maintain his career. I'd rather see Ronaldo stay at Man Utd instead of moving. He have close friends, fantastic supporters, a manager who cares for him and his career's still soaring. What more does he want? And most important of all. No club politics like Real, which can unsettle any players in the club.
