France's highly-rated striker Karim Benzema is out to prove his worth at Euro 2008 this summer.
The Lyon starlet lit up Ligue 1 last season with French champions Lyon after netting an impressive 20-goal haul.
Benzema has again been linked with a move to Manchester United on Sunday and the youngster knows all eyes will be on him in Austria and Switzerland.
Rather than shy away from the pressures of helping France to Euro 2008 glory, Benzema is staying confident ahead of the prestigious tournament.
"I'm confident," he added. "I know this is the highest level and it's up to me to show what I can do.
"I know a lot is expected from me and I'll give it my very best to prove my worth."
Benzema started Saturday's goalless draw with Paraguay alongside Thierry Henry and the youngster feels having experienced players around him makes playing easy.
"I felt I played a good match, even if a goal is missing," he continued.
"When you're surrounded by such great players as Thierry Henry or Franck Ribery, it makes it easy.
"They know how to set you up and make it all look simple."
