Tottenham have completed the £4.7million signing of Giovani Dos Santos on a five-year deal, according to Barcelona's official website.
The attacking midfielder has put pen to paper on a deal which will keep him at White Hart Lane until June 2013.
The initial transfer fee is 6 million euros (£4.7million), with another five million euros payable depending on appearances, which could make the total transfer fee £8.6million.
The La Liga club have included a clause in the deal which will see the Catalan giants receive 20% of any future transfer fees if the Mexican starlet leaves the north London club within the first two years of his contract.
A statement on Barcelona's official website read: "FC Barcelona and Tottenham Hotspur FC have come to an agreement for the transfer of Giovani Dos Santos to the English club.
"The Mexican will sign for the club managed by Juande Ramos until June 30, 2013 for a fee of six million euros plus another five million depending on the player's appearances for the London club during his five-year contract.
"FC Barcelona also maintain 20% of the financial rights to any possible transfer of the player during his first two years of contract and 10% on any transfer from his new club, Tottenham Hotspur FC."
