  Steaua Bucharest could be thrown out of next season's Champions League for bribing opponents.

  They finished second in the Romanian top flight after losing seven points for their part in the scandal and UEFA are considering banning them from European competition.

  Porto are already barred having been found guilty of trying to bribe referees during the 2003-4 season in Portugal UEFA chief Michel Platini said: "We're going to be very strict on cheating and cheaters.

  We want clean football."
