New Nerazzurri boss Jose Mourinho has lined up a number of
targets from the Premiership, but realizes he will find it difficult to prize
away the likes of Michael Essien and Ashley Cole from Chelsea,
as well as Steven Gerrard from Liverpool.
The chances of Frank Lampard ending up at San Siro are
believed to be much higher, however now another new name from England has
surprisingly entered the frame.
The News of the World claims that Mourinho is ready to
splash out €19m on Blackburn winger David
Bentley.
The 23-year-old has impressed in Lancashire
since arriving from Arsenal permanently in 2006, and last season he scored six
goals from 37 Premiership appearances, as well as providing 11 assists.
Bentley has never hidden his desire to move to a bigger club
in order to prove himself at a higher level, and would jump at the chance of a
move to the Italian peninsula. He has won six caps for England, but a
move to Serie A could see him become the regular on the right hand side of Fabio Capello's midfield.
well no doubt bentley is talented imho.. but not sure if he can adapt to inter milan and italian league.. maybe, maybe not..
BLACKBURN should consider selling him for 19million pound if that bid is true.
use the money to invest in 2-3 young promising stars.
that the way to survive the EPL.
