Speculation is rife that Manchester United are interested in Atletico Madrid striker Sergio Aguero although it could be Arsenal or Liverpool.
The 20-year-old Argentina international, who scored 19 goals in La Liga last season, has emerged as one of the hottest young talents in Europe and has been reported to be rated at around £35 million.
Although there is nothing to prove the Red Devils link with Aguero as yet, his agent Jose Segui has revealed that there is interest from a leading English team and Chelsea are not in it. However, Arsenal and Liverpool, the other leading sides in England playing Champions League football, are also in the transfer market linked with a host of strikers and could be the side Segui is talking about.
Segui is reported as saying: “I have had interest from a leading English team and they have asked me to approach Atletico with a bid.
“I cannot say more until I have spoken to the club about the offer. All I can tell you is that it is one of the best teams in Europe and it's not Chelsea.”
