West Brom have won the race to sign Liverpool goalkeeper Scott Carson for an initial fee of £3.25million, rising to £4million.
The Baggies have beaten off interest from the likes of Stoke, Blackburn and Aston Villa to sign the England international.
Liverpool decided to let Carson leave after bringing in Brazilian Diego Cavaleri as cover for Jose Reina.
Stoke agreed a £3.5million fee with the Reds earlier this week and held talks with Carson only to pull out of the move on Thursday.
West Brom also negotiated a deal with the Merseyside club and the former Leeds player has agreed a four-year deal at The Hawthorns.
His agent Colin Gordon has confirmed the deal has been done to bring Carson to West Brom.
"The deal has been done," Gordon told Sky Sports.
"Scott has signed a four-year deal with West Brom.
"They will pay £3.25million which will rise to £4million for Scott."
