Gilberto fears that Arsenal’s three-season run without a trophy will go on.
The Brazilian ended his six-year spell with the Gunners earlier this month, agreeing a move to Panathinaikos. The midfielder’s departure followed the exits of Mathieu Flamini and Alexander Hleb, while speculation continues about the future of Emmanuel Adebayor.
Since Arsenal’s Premier League title in 2004 and FA Cup win in 2005, Chelsea and Manchester United have dominated.
But Gilberto, 31, hopes Arsene Wenger’s side can build on their improved showing last term. “They need to start winning things,” he said. “Of course there is massive pressure, but people cannot forget they are a young side and have a lot to improve, to grow and to learn.
“But it will be very important to them if they win something this year.

without more and better players then they presently had it wouldn't be a surprise if Arsenal didn't win a thing for the next season or 2

I doubt Arsenal will win anything this year except for FA CUP as Chelsea & Man U will still dominate the Premier League, with Big Phil at Chelsea & Ferguson still pulling the strings at Man U.
untill they clear the debt for their stadium i doubt any trophies
