Emmanuel Adebayor has ruled out leaving the Emirates Stadium this summer and revealed he has agreed to sign a new contract with Arsenal.
The 24-year-old Togo international joined Arsenal in January 2006 and was outstanding last season, prompting interest from Barcelona and AC Milan.
But Adebayor has opted to stay with Arsene Wenger's team, and told the club's website: "Now I can tell everyone that, yes, I will sign a contract.
"I'm feeling very good here, very well here, and at the moment my heart is with Arsenal."
He added: "I never told anyone I would be leaving this club, never ever.
"I'm very happy we've found a solution.
"I have three years left on my contract and I'm putting two or three years more, so I'm very happy being part of this family."

Faggot
siao liao, we going trophyless this season again

Emmanuel Adebayor was jeered by the Arsenal fans as he came on for the second half of their 1-0 Emirates Cup defeat to Juventus on Saturday.
Adebayor has been the subject of transfer speculation all summer, with reports of a big-money move to both AC Milan and Barcelona.
Last season's 30-goal frontman, though, on Friday dismissed the rumours and pledged he was ready to sign a new contract extension, declaring himself happy within the Arsenal "family".
However, when he was announced to the crowd as starting the game against Juventus on the bench, some of the home support inside a packed Emirates Stadium made their feelings perfectly clear.
Yet following a busy display as a second-half substitute during the 1-0 defeat, once the 24-year-old is back on the goal-trail when the action starts for real, you suspect it will not be long before he is in all Gunners' good books once more.
Being a Man utd fan, yes blast me now, I feel that players nowadays have no sense of loyalty. They are just creating transfer rumours to get fat new contracts to feed their egos. Its a disease that plagues all teams.
Boooooooooo

Arsene Wenger has backed Emmanuel Adebayor to soon be a firm favourite again with all Arsenal fans having agreed to stay with the Gunners.
The Togo international received something of a mixed reception when his name was announced to the crowd at the start Saturday afternoon's Emirates Cup clash against Juventus, which ended 1-0 to the Serie A outfit.
The 24-year-old has been the subject of fevered transfer speculation all summer, with reports of a big-money move to both AC Milan and Barcelona.
However, last season's 30-goal forward dismissed the rumour mill on Fridaynd pledged he was ready to sign a new one-year contract extension, declaring himself happy within the Arsenal "family".
It may take a bit more than that, though, to win over some Gunners' fans, who were clearly less than impressed by the whole protracted saga.
Wenger, though, can understand their frustrations.
He said: "I feel our fans are behind him, I feel that was more disappointed love.
"To me, face to face, he always told me he wants to stay at the club, and it finished like that, so I believe what he told me."
The Arsenal manager said: "He is not going anywhere - even if you come with a 747 plane full of money."
ade: no want want to buy me. so i lan lan have to stay and win over the fans.
wenger: no clubs think he value at 24million pound, even i gacve discount to AC milan. so he will stay and win over tha fans.
