Gullit leaves LA Galaxy

RUUD GULLIT has resigned as coach of MLS side LA Galaxy for personal reasons.
David Beckham’s outfit, who have gone seven games without a win, will now see Cobi Jones in charge as caretaker boss.
Gullit said: "In truth, it has proved a lot more difficult than I anticipated for my family to settle in the area and the club has been very supportive and understanding of my decision.
"I would like to thank the players and the fans for their fantastic support and I wish the LA Galaxy much success in the future.
"I would now like to spend some time with my family before considering any other position in football."
Galaxy general manager and president Alexi Lalas has also been fired.

beckham can go too once the onwers recoup a part of their investments.
