Southampton head coach Jan Poortvliet has warned Blackpool boss Simon Grayson his young side are ready to become the Arsenal of the Championship.
Like Arsene Wenger, Poortvliet has been forced to place his trust in youth with the troubled south coast club - battling debts of £25million - having lost senior pros Grzegorz Rasiak, Andrew Davies and Marek Saganowski.
Poortvliet said: "Arsenal are a template. They play the game the rightway and with a good mix of young players."
