Everton boss David Moyes has been charged with improper conduct.
The FA made the charge in relation to his touchline behaviour during the team’s 3-2 win over Stoke on September 14.
Moyes was incensed by referee Alan Wiley’s failure to award a penalty after Stoke defender Leon Cort seemingly handled the ball in the area.
Wiley felt the offence had taken place outside the area and awarded a free-kick instead, and subsequently sent Moyes to the stands after he confronted the fourth official.
After the game, Moyes said: “I don’t swear. I told the fourth official very strongly that the referee made the wrong decision. I knew it was a penalty.
“They said that if they realise they got it wrong then they will apologise to me.”
However, he has now been charged under FA rule E3 and has until October 2 to respond.
lol, so what's your excuse?
