Luka Modric has handed Tottenham boss Juande Ramos a welcome boost by returning to full training after recovering from an knee injury.
The Croatia international was taken off during Spurs’ 2-1 defeat to Aston Villa last Monday but returned to training on Tuesday, after missing Sunday’s draw with Wigan.
Modric has so far failed to find his best form at White Hart Lane since completing a £16.5 million from Dinamo Zagreb in the summer.
Spurs defender Michael Dawson is still recovering from a hamstring problem and is joined on the sidelines by Alan Hutton who has not yet recovered from a foot injury.
Hutton is due to have further scans on the injury next month which will determine when he can return to the first-team fold.
