Kasper Schmeichel claims he feels "trapped" at Manchester City as he looks to leave the club when the transfer window reopens in January.
The young Dane lost his place to Joe Hart and has spoken of his frustration whilst away with the Denmark Under-21 side for their play-off with Serbia.
Although his contract still has another three years to run, Schmeichel does not see a future for him at The City of Manchester Stadium, particularly with Mark Hughes poised to embark on an unprecedented spending spree.
"As I understand it, it's permanent that City will not release me but I hope not," he told Jyllands Posten.
"I will do everything I can again in January to get away.
"But, if the club is unwilling to co-operate, I am unfortunately a bit trapped.
"I'd love to be loaned out," admitted the 21-year-old. "But the club will not go along with that.
"If they change their mind, I am open to everything, including the Danish League.
"I don't exclude anything. If it means that I will play, I will be looking very seriously at it.
"I do not want to sit on the bench. Financially, it would be great if I was just at City and sat on the bench.
"I could live quite sensibly for the rest of my life on the money but it is absolutely not what I am interested in.
"I just want to play and I almost indifferent as to where it is."
i feel sad for him.. he deserve better
