  I honestly don't believe Liverpool has it in them to win the title this season... They as a club (Their present players) have never gone through the pressure moments from Feb to May and it could be a totally different ball game... We all saw Arsenal last season as good as they were, leading the table started to crumble the moment the pressure started to get to their players and its no difference with most clubs or individual players... And I am predicting once the champions league knock-out stage starts in late Jan or early Feb, Pool will lose their consistency in the league.

  Honestly, Chelsea seem like the best equip to handle it... And I feel the team that ends up higher than them will win the title.

  i'll put my money on Chelsea to win with ManU close behind, unless ManU managed to get themselves a more profilic striker from within their current team or a new striker, else we should see the title landing in SB, nevertheless, Liverpool seems pretty strong these days but something is just missing in them in my opinion, they depend way too much on Gerrard and Torres and might end up suffering when either one lost form.. but then again, it'll be good to see team like Liverpool winning this season, a change from what we have kinda get used to seeing for the pass 10 season... keep it up Liverpool

  That's why I always say the only way Liverpool will win the Premier League is if they are 20 points ahead of their nearest rivals with 7 games left to play.

  I checked the sg pools page just now, currently odds for 1-2 west ham win is at $28.

   

  $2.8K win if you bet $100.

   

  I would suggest you hedge it with a 2-2 scoreline at $23 just to be safe.

  Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez believes that his side will be odds-on to take the Premier League title if they can remain on top through the Christmas schedule. 

   

  The Reds currently sit just one point ahead of second-placed Chelsea, but with games against Hull, Newcastle and Bolton on the horizon, Benitez will be desperate to see his players go on and cement that position. 

  "If we can finish the Christmas period at the top of the table then we will have an 80 per cent possibility of winning the title," said the Spanish tactician, who won two Primera Liga titles during his time with Valencia. 

  "In the past in the second half of the season we have normally been better, stronger and that is why I think we can win the title. We have some important players not playing now. 

  "When they are fit they will be a good addition for the second half." 

  Traditionally, the team that leads at Christmas time rarely goes on to win the Premier League title, but Benitez feels that his side stand well equipped to buck that trend as they are yet to play to their full potential. 

  "We have a lot of confidence and we think that if we can improve on two or three things then it will be easier to win some games," he added. 

  "We will have to see in two or three months. If you are doing well everyone has confidence, but if you lose one or two games, then you will see the reaction.

  "I am happier to talk about the title now, because a month ago we needed to prove something. 

  "One month later we are proving to everyone that we can do it. It is always difficult and other teams have bigger squads and a lot of very expensive players, but we have confidence."
