On a night of festival football Arsenal and Fenerbahce produced one of
the matches of the night with and end to end display of attacking
fluency.
Emmanuel Adebayor opened Arsenal's account within ten minutes and moments later Theo Walcott doubled the Gunners' advantage.
Speaking
after the game, Walcott told the Telegraph: "All the teams will look in
Europe and see the 5-2 win, Arsenal away, with a young team and I think
the other teams will be scared to play us.
"That's the
impression we want to give out to all the other teams. We do that and
we have always got them on the back foot and hopefully we can just keep
performing like that," he added.
"It was absolutely brilliant.
The main thing was getting the three points and everyone got their jobs
right and we scored five goals and it was nice to see us taking our
chances... This young team has had a lot of experience at Champions
League level now.
"Everyone got their jobs right - we studied Fenerbahce and how they play," Walcott continued.
"We
knew their fans would be right behind them but we quietened them down
straight away by scoring two very early goals and it was a brilliant
performance."
another brilliant display by walcott
eh, no doubts walcott is great. but win one match with 5 goals then ppl scare of liao? like wtf?
well its not one, but a few already
knn, i dont like players or managers who think they are better just because they scored a big win.
then like that chelsea = imba?
