PHIL SCOLARI warned the Premier League: Chelsea can be the new Invincibles.
Blues face Liverpool in the top-of-the-table showdown. And boss Big Phil reckons his team can go the whole season unbeaten like Arsenal did in 2004.
He said: “Yes it’s possible to go through the Premier League season undefeated. “I think my team have the passion, the professionalism and the results to be perfect. “I hope that all the players in Chelsea are thinking along those lines.”
Arsene Wenger’s Gunners were dubbed the “Invincibles” after becoming the first team since Preston in 1888-9 to go through the season without losing.
Chelsea are unbeaten in eight matches so far — but so are Liverpool. Scolari added: “Liverpool are dangerous because they have a good team and good players and they have not lost a game this season.
“Sometimes they are in bad condition in the last five minutes but they still get a result. And that is because they play as a team. “That is what I want as a team and what my team give to me.”

Don't worry. Even though I'm really disappointed like any other Chelsea fans, I firmly believe our boys will bounce back stronger and achieve something major this season. EPL champion or home record more important? Give me the champion anytime!

The deflected goal have finally come back to haunt Chelsea it seems... They have been winning lots of matches with fortunate deflected goals over the years building up this record and fittingly they lost it with one now.
It seems like what goes around, comes around...

RAY WILKINS revealed the Stamford Bridge dressing-room was like a morgue after Chelsea’s defeat by Liverpool.
The players sat in silence after their 86- match unbeaten home run had been wrecked. But assistant coach Wilkins said boss Big Phil Scolari gave a rallying speech on Monday to lift the players.
Wilkins said: “The dressing room was morgue-like after the Liverpool game. Morgue-like. They were very down. "That’s purely and simply the standards they set themselves and they feel they didn’t quite reach that. They’re doubly determined to bounce back as quickly as possible. “It’s absolutely important to get the defeat from Liverpool out of our system.”
Chelsea are at third-placed Hull tonight and Wilkins insists they can emulate Jose Mourinho’s side and go through the rest of the campaign unbeaten. In Mourinho’s title-winning debut season Chelsea lost on the ninth day of the season to Manchester City but it proved to be their only defeat.
The loss to Liverpool came just 48 hours after Scolari claimed they could go the season unbeaten. Wilkins added: “There is no reason with the determination these guys have that they wouldn’t push on and win every game. Felipe’s priority was to make sure they were not too down.”
