Little Phil and Big Phil goes head to head on wednesday... Interesting...
Hull v Chelsea, 3:45 (Thurs Morning)
Wednesday, 29 October 2008
PHIL BROWN insists his high-flying Hull side will not be frightened by Chelsea’s all-stars. The Tigers have won four games on the bounce and are looking to claim another giant scalp tomorrow at the KC Stadium.
Brown said: “I think there is this mentality that the top four are impregnable and unbeatable because of the amount of money they’ve spent.
“But having gone to the Emirates and got the three points off Arsenal it has given us hope and belief. “If we bring our best game to the table then we might get something from the match.”
Brown is looking forward to testing himself against Blues boss Big Phil Scolari but added: “Sir Alex Ferguson is the No 1 for me.”
Hull to top table!!
How can, Liverpool are 3 points clear of them. Anyway I doubt they can unset Chelsea. I think they will still lose it but maybe by a goal or two at most.
They have been a fun addition to the league but such things don't last just like the Reading side when they first came up...
3 points can chase. than chase some more. than top table!

Almost impossible for Hull to top the table, as luck has it they will play Chelsea and United next... So in the event that Pool loses their next match and Hull strangely manage to win Chelsea, they will still be on level points with Pool but poorer in goal difference.
Their 2nd match against United away, so almost impossible to win too but for some strange reason they do, it will still need Pool to drop more points again which is even more impossible...
So unless all the impossiblies come together... ha ha ha...
Wait Hull win the BPL then you all bang your heads on the wall. ![]()

Hull stuns the footballing world by winning the 2008/2009 BPL.
All their players get bought over by the richer teams across Europe.
Next season, Hull gets relegated.
Everything goes back to normal again. ![]()

Look at Hull's boots... what do you see?
Nothing right?
THAT WHY THEY SHOULD GO OUT AND KICK SOME BIG FOUR ASSES!
The problem here is Hull seem to play better away from home winning 4 and drawing 1 and not losing any... While winning only 2, drawing 1 and losing 5 - 0 to Wigan all at home...
So expect Hull to lose again as this is a home match... lol

Yeah the ball is indeed round and it seems that it will roll into their net more often than otherwise when they play at home... lol
At home they let in 8, away only 3 ...
They even score more when they play away...lol
Home score 5, away... wah... 9... hahaha...

ARE YOU GEO-KING? ... Tigers' confident Brazilian
The Chelsea boss is looking to pick up his troops after their 86-match unbeaten home record in the Premier League was smashed by Liverpool on Sunday. But the Blues must travel to Humberside to face a Hull outfit who incredibly are level with them on points.
The Tigers have already beaten the other four London sides in the Premier League — and a fifth capital scalp will propel them up to second in the table. Geovanni said: “Scolari is a top coach and I do not doubt he will be a success at Chelsea, but I feel sorry for him because we are going to beat his team.
“Chelsea will be next after Arsenal. The Blues have a tremendous squad but they just lost to Liverpool, which is a blow for their morale, so let’s take advantage of it.
“Hull’s bright start to the season is not about luck but rather about hard work. Big clubs should be wary, we are going to continue to surprise them. “When I arrived at Hull everyone was asking me how we could possibly stay up. Everyone said we were clear favourites for relegation.
“The key for us has been our dressing room. The atmosphere is sensational. We’re all friends. “Anywhere we go, even when we went to Arsenal at the Emirates, we play with three up front. But we also have many English players and when we have to defend we all honour the club’s badge — the Tiger.
“Our squad is the example of how players and their coach should work hand in hand. The sky is the limit for us and we target European qualification.”
Playmaker Geovanni, 28, only joined the Tigers in the summer from Manchester City but has already netted four goals in seven games. The former Barcelona and Benfica schemer has constantly been linked with a move back to a more glamorous club.
But he insisted: “I am very happy with the way Hull have been treating me since day one. Of course they are not a big club, but people are great there. “Hull is a lovely city, very tranquil. People are crazy about the team and support us to death, both at home and away.”
Unfortunately Hull let in an early goal in the first 3 mins... Now Chelsea settle liao and not so nervous anymore... They can now defend without taking risk.
song bo 3-0
Hull City can go beat United in their next game!
hull lost 0 - 3.
soon they'll be back where they should belong.
Like I said... Hull's results at home is terrible... They play better away from home...
For the record, At home they have let in 11 goals now, away only 3... weird...
