Chelsea hit-man Nicolas Anelka would be absolutely delighted to partner Didier Drogba up front as part of a 4-4-2 system.
France international Anelka has been at the top of his game this season, scoring decisive goals for his club and country, while Drogba remains sidelined through injury.
The number 39 understands striker Drogba will be back in action in the near future, after damaging his knee in Cluj, and he would jump at the chance of playing alongside him.
"Didier and I can play together but we have not done that since I have been here," said Anelka.
"We have never started together up front. If we have started together then I was either on the right or left.
"So it's a shame, because I wanted to play with him when I first signed with Chelsea, but I hope it will happen. I think it could work with the two of us. But it's the choice of the manager."
you tag with drogba? go grow some hair on your head first.

LOL
He tag with Kalou(as sub) more gd
but chelsea have not played 4-4-2 well since a long time ago..
yea.. they too dependent on 4 3 3...
442 with shevvy also not well..
look like chelski only can play with 4 3 3
seriously
even if tis 433 with anelka, its fruitless
tell me how many of his goals are really brillant goals? most of them are either rebounds or mistakes from the opposition team that allowed him to score, instead of teammates creating the chances for him
even when teammates created the chances for him, he will either shoot the ball like a ballon or just kick it straight to the keeper
