Ronaldo snubs Italian offer

Free agent Ronaldo has opted against signing a short-term contract with Serie A side Siena according to his agent Fabiano Farah.
Siena offered the Brazilian legend a pay-as-you-score contract, but his representative has revealed he will not consider such an option, as the striker aims higher.
Nevertheless, Farah has thanked the strugglers for their interest.
“He will not play for Siena,” Farah told Globoesporte. “We are thankful to them for their interest, but with all the respect I have for Siena, Ronaldo fought for ninth months to recover and cannot play for a team that are fighting against relegation.
“Everybody says all the clubs want to sign Ronaldo for their team, but at the moment he is focused on the charity game against [Zinedine] Zidane’s team.”
