  As the topic had said, SAFFC is the champions of Sleague 2008 yesterday.

  Latiff scored in 58 mins to a rebound following a save from Therdsardk Chaiman shot by Lewis.

  They had 76 points with a edge of 4 points over nearest title contenders Super Reds and 7 points from Home United with just one match to go.

  Super Reds FC is not to get AFC Cup Berth

  AFC Cup Berth (If I am not wrong)

  Top team in Singapore Cup 

  ACL Champions League Qualifying round

  Top team in S-League

  If one team got the domestic double, like SAFFC in 2007, that team will take the ACL place and the AFC cup would go to the top non champion team in Singapore Cup.

  That means effectively, SAFFC would no matter what got into ACL and Woodlands Wellington would get AFC place.

  In addition, do not overlook the S-Leage, SAFFC had players like Thersardk whom played in ACL finals before.

  I know, SAFFC cannot compared to Man U or Real Marid, but they are still good, and btw, singapore is ranked 19th in Asia and sleague was top ten leagues in asia....
