The endless Andrei Arshavin saga rumbles on and this time the Zenit St Petersburg star has revealed his attraction for Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich.
Russian forward Arshavin has been linked to a host of clubs including Tottenham, Real Madrid and Barcelona, and is expected to move on from St Petersburg during the January transfer window.
The 27-year-old has confirmed he is willing to leave the Russian league as soon as possible, and has declared playing for Bayern was ‘a dream’ to him.
The German outfit may wish to strengthen their squad in January after showing signs of inconsistency this season.
Arshavin told Bild: “I don’t want to play for Zenit any more. Playing for Bayern is a dream.”
His agent Dennis Lachter added: “No decision will be taken before Zenit St Petersburg play against Real Madrid on December 10.”
