Hans Leitert, a 35-year old Austrian goalkeeping coach, only joined Spurs during the summer to work specifically with the underperforming Paul Robinson. But England's former number one was sold to Blackburn Rovers, and Heurelho Gomes from PSV Eindhoven was brought in.
The bumbling Brazilian made gaffe after gaffe and has conceded 20 goals in just 13 games. Manager Harry Redknapp refuses to axe Gomes, but has instead dismissed Leitert.
The Lilywhite north London club have been quick to replace Leitert, bringing Spurs legend Tony Parks into the equation.
Parks helped Tottenham Hotspur claim the Uefa Cup in 1984 by saving a penalty against Anderlecht.
Parks has been helping coach the national side's goalkeepers of late, along with Ray Clemence and Martin Thomas, but the 45-year old will now join Redknapp's revolution at White Hart Lane.
Spurs play Blackburn Rovers when Premier League business resumes this weekend.
