Arsenal misery: Reserve keeper breaks both his arms

  Arsenal reserve goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny will be out until 2009 after fracturing both his arms.

  
  

  The Polish youth international, 18, suffered the breaks on Monday at the training ground and underwent surgery that night.
  
  "All being well, he will be looking to return in the middle of February," said a Gunners spokesman.
  
  "Everyone at Arsenal Football Club would like to wish Wojciech the best of luck with his recovery."

  "The worst is that the barbell was not even heavy" said the goalkeeper. "I just lost balance. I had the barbell on my neck so I tried to keep it in this position as long as possible so as it did not fall on my head and it pressed my arms." said Szczęsny.

  It happened during the training on monday. The diagnosis is catastrophic. Szczęsny broke both arms above the wrist. It is possible that till the end of this season he will not play in the reserves of Arsenal.
