Michael Ballack thinks Manchester United will be Chelsea's main challengers for the title
Michael Ballack has dismissed Liverpool’s chances of winning the title, claiming Rafa Benitez’s team are better suited to the Champions League.
The Chelsea midfielder’s words were particularly provocative given that Benitez’s side are level on points with Chelsea.
Ballack said: ‘It’s always the big four everyone speaks about, but I still think it’s about Chelsea and Manchester United.
‘Liverpool are very good but for me they are a club for the Champions League, partly because they can put their focus on one or two matches.
'Arsenal are already behind, which makes it difficult for them.’
Actually what he said holds some water ... dismissing liverpool is just not the right way to put it but should rather talks about his side having a better chance to win ... after all chelsea are not at their full strength yet ... essien and ballack out ... probably they will be back in the second half of the season to clear the last hurdle for their title challenge
i think chelsea has a better chance at the title than the rest.
a lot of their good players are still injured yet they can keep it going.
liverpool do not have depth on the bench to last a full season.
A swimming pool full of liver.
its still too early in the season to start making such statements..
i agree with ballack even though im a liverpool fan.
